In this session, the speaker will be providing an overview on the guiding principles of the smart city development of Frankfurt. Following a brief overview of these democratic guidelines the city has given itself, we will provide an insight into the challenges public administrations face daily when managing the digital transformation. Finally, an outlook on future developments for the public sector and perspectives for both the economy and the state will be given.
